November 2009, Codice function to welcome new directors
New pieces of the puzzle are falling into place at Codice

Codice were proud to host an end of year function at Customs House on December 1 to welcome aboard two new directors. Joining Codice's founding director Chris Scott in 2010 as co-directors are Maureen Keers and Gordon Taylor and we were very excited to introduce the new team to our clients and share our plans for a bigger and better Codice.

Maureen has over 30 years experience in providing software sales and support services to Queensland clients through her companies Kasys and Aurora Technologies. She has over 10 years experience in providing first level HP TRIM support, including high level technical TRIM issue resolution to clients ranging from large Queensland government departments to universities, mines and energy companies. Maureen's experience and business acumen are valuable additions to Codice.

Gordon is an Information Technology professional who has been building enterprise solutions in the private and public sectors for over 15 years. He has extensive experience in leading software development teams using effective and formal project management methodologies. His skills also extend to deployment, including several years designing, deploying and implementing Enterprise Content Management solutions for large clients around the world. He is a former TRIM Solutions Architect with Tower Software and the founder of Infovark, a start up Software Company specialising in Information Management.

The technical eDRMS and business knowledge and experience Maureen and Gordon bring to Codice will compliment the strong Records Management experience Chris Scott founded the company on and we are very excited about the improved service we will be able to deliver in 2010.

May 2009, RMAA Queensland Branch State Conference

Codice were proud to support the 2009 RMAA Queensland Branch State Conference held at the Hilton Hotel, Brisbane on 19 May 2009. Our trade booth offered us a good opportunity to meet with other Records Management professionals and introduce our new online training product. As always the presentations offered at the conference were relevant and informative.

During the conference, Codice consultant Kylee Williamson was presented the Records Management Association Australasia prize for best written work by a records management student on a records management theme for her paper ‘The Paperless Office and Recordkeeping - An Entwined Circle'. Kylee was presented with a cheque for $250 and a 12 month RMAA membership. Kylee's paper is available under the White Papers tab of this website.

May 2009, 25th Australia Papua New Guinea Business Forum

Codice atttended the 25th Australia PNG Business Forum in Madang on 17 and 18 May 2009. The forum theme was 'Exploring business and investment opportunities in Papua New Guinea' and the program included an overview of the PNG political and economic climate and discussion surrounding issues which affect business and investment.

We enjoyed the chance to catch up with existing clients and to introduce our document and records management services to other business forum attendees. Despite the inevitable heat we made the most of the spectacular location and experiences on offer in Madang and are looking forward to more trips to PNG in the near future.

March 2009, TUF22 (HP TRIM user forum 22)

Codice attended the HP TRIM User Forum 22, at the Hyatt Coolum, from Tuesday 24th March through to Thursday 26th March as a Business Partner Exhibitor. It was great to see so many existing Codice clients there and have the chance to catch up in a slightly more relaxed environment. We also really enjoyed the opportunity to meet and network with other HP TRIM customers and support partners and used the event to launch our new records management and eDRMS online training product. The trade show cocktail party and Top Secret Dinner with special guest host Ernie Dingo were definite highlights.

The variety of presentations and the candid discussions from the HP team regarding the transition from Tower to the new HP world were valuable and appreciated. We are looking forward to supporting next year's event.
